Anthony is hands down the best plumber we’ve worked with! He came out the same day we called, quickly diagnosed the issue, and had it fixed in no time. His knowledge and professionalism were impressive, and he took the time to explain everything clearly. Highly recommend!

Full renovation of a duplex downtown Charleston included new HVAC systems for the two floors. We opted for Daiken. The install went pretty smooth compared to my other contractors. They were neat and finished the job rapidly working in the heat of the attic as well as the din of the crawlspace. The system however has not been without issues. We had a slow leak in one of the lines and then the system went down due to excessive humidity in the crawlspace flooding the overflow pan. The upstairs unit has trouble maintaining temperature but I have some leaky windows and no attic insulation which may be the cause. We shall see when that gets remedied. Holy City service has been pretty.good though, addressing issues as they arise. They are usually very quick to respond and did not leave until problem was repaired. I feel confident that they will continue to support the system as it ages. I have not tested the heat portion of the unit yet, but not too worried about that. The digital thermostat and app is nice, I can set the temp remotely as if I was standing in front of the display. It also has some diagnostics that I set up to connect to Holy City so they can monitor the system performance remotely. Lost a star due to issues, otherwise would have been 5.

Been meaning to share my experience with Holy City Heating and Air. My first impression was the attitude of the teammates, and how they all really liked working for Tom. From start to finish, everyone came prepared to work and got it done. Amanda immediately went to work to get the job, and tee'd it up for Brandon and the rest of the team. Marto's ductwork crew were diligent doing their part too. I barely even saw them as they were always busy getting it done. Once completed, Tom came through afterwards, got dirty, and crawled the crawlspace to ensure things were done to his standards. He really took care of me and provided a few extras at his expense. I'm very pleased with the quality of work and pride the team has for each other, and the company.

Without telling me, installed a unit they have never used and a manufacturer they have never work with and have not worked with again. Technicians had zero idea what they were doing and the turn over of technicians has been absolutely crazy. They are now saying they will not honor the warranty because they don’t work with that company. I have renovated 18 houses and this is the first time this has happened. The workers were clean and polite but had no idea what they were doing. This is all an ownership issue. I would never work with them again because they treat the customer and employees very badly. The billboards say everything, we spend money on marketing, not our employees or clients. Look elsewhere.

Jennifer with Holy City Heating and Air was awesome and quick to respond to my appointment request. She got me on the schedule fast and communicated with me the whole time. Alec showed up on the appointment date and was great. It was clear that he was knowledgeable about my HVAC unit and explained everything clearly and made it easy to understand. Looking forward to working with Holy City Heating and Air again in the future!

Update 10/5/2024: Unfortunately, I have to change this review. The support from this company has been non-existent. They did not check the static pressure in my ducts when the installation was complete which caused the unit and ductwork to condensate. The condensation was so bad, it leaked onto my ceiling as seen in the attached pictures. A technician finally came to the house to check the pressure and adjusted the fan speed, which did not help. After repeated calls, they sent another tech that said I needed new ducts. Please note that I originally had a 5 ton unit and they replaced it with a 4 ton unit which they claimed was a match for my ductwork. They did recommend new ducts based on age but not capacity. After repeated attempts, I was finally able to talk with the owner. I agreed to have a quote for new ductwork but I stated that I would not work with one of his employees that was extremely rude to me. The owner was very dismissive and stated that he did not see where we would be able to work together. I will also add that during one of their visits I stated that I had a rattle in the outside unit. They repaired it with zip ties as seen in the attached photos. I do not like giving bad reviews but this has been going on for months and Holy City Heating and Air has decided to leave me with this problem!
